Students were asked to think of positive adjectives or phrases to describe their fellow classmates. There were so many things to say that we ran out of room. :)
Ask your child about... the parts of a plant (petals, stem, pistil, stamen, roots), some plants that never bloom, our current teacher read aloud Because of Winn Dixie , by Kate DiCamillo, cursive writing, more peanut baby adventures, subtracting money and making change for $2, $5, and $10, final blogging posts and comments
Tuesday Fun! We had planned to celebrate the end of MAP testing a few weeks ago and instead watched the weather event of the year, snow in May. We will attempt this again on Tuesday, May 21. Please encourage your child to wear their tennis shoes as we have some outdoor fun planned. We will also be watching the movie Because of Winn Dixie.
