I'm really looking forward to August.  August brings new opportunities. It also brings new pencils, new crayons, new folders, new ideas AND new students!  I've been finding many new ideas over the summer.  Like the idea from Mrs. Brooks class to share this video with my new class.  We are going to have a "magical" year!

Well, I'm learning more and more about this new site and I'm liking everything I see.  I was experimenting with adding a video and found this really cool video about summer.  I hope you like it too.

I hope everyone is enjoying their time away from school.  My family has enjoyed a few quick trips already and we have spent a lot of time outdoors with our new dog.  Along with several new "teacher" books that I'm reading, I'm attempting to create a new website/blog.  Maybe this will be our new class website home for the 2012/2013 school year.
